How do you spend your days?
My days are usually pretty busy. Especially lately, it seems like my calendar is jam-packed with things I have to do. Work, school, events, parties, errands, etc. Never a dull moment with me. At the moment I am working full time for the municipal government in my city in a communications role. I try to go to the gym 3 times a week after work (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) although this week I pretty much failed that haha. My weekends are probably the most busy, especially in 2014. Seems like everyone wants to hang out all the time! My priority right now is preparing for my upcoming international travels that I have planned for the next year and a half. Besides all that, I really need some time to unwind and relax. I'm hoping playing iSurv1vor will give me a reason to stay inside instead of going out to party (I'm so cool, right?).
If you could compare yourself to a actual Survivor castaway, who would it be?
I would say that out of the seasons of Survivor I have watched, I think I most closely resemble Yul. And no, not solely because of having similar ethnic backgrounds! I think Yul played a very solid game in all aspects. He was very good socially, physically, and mentally. He avoided conflict and confrontation, and was able to effectively put himself in a good position throughout the game. I believe that if I was on an actual season of Survivor, I would play very similar to him.
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
When I was younger I wasn't a huge fan of my name. Now I really like it. But if I had to change my first name, I would change it to something very unique. Something barely anyone names their children. I am a big fan of creative, less-used names. Maybe something like Rey or Vail. The options for unique names are endless. I really like the name Zayn, so maybe something similar.
What are some of your hobbies?
My hobbies are pretty broad. I love trying new things frequently so I have done a variety of activities in the past. I love to travel and try to do so as much as I possibly can. I've been to places in Canada, the USA, Mexico, and Europe. I love to try new foods! I'm a big fan of Vietnamese and Italian cuisines, but I absolutely enjoy all types of meals. I like exercise and trying new ways to get physically active. I enjoy soccer, volleyball, basketball, swimming, running, squash, badminton, biking, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, yoga, kayaking, working out, dragon boating, and I am also currently in a pole dance class. I'm also a big fan of watching reality TV shows such as Big Brother and Survivor, and as you can tell I play the occasional online game related to them.
What is your favorite color?
My favourite color is blue. For some reason I am drawn to most things blue. I'm not sure if I actually genuinely like the color blue because of my preference, or if I have been conditioned to like it because of the male association with blue as being masculine. I also really like teal, turquoise, and yellow.
If you were reincarnated as an ice cream flavor, what would it be?
If I was reincarnated as an ice cream flavour, I would say that I would be strawberry. I love strawberry ice cream and you have to love yourself, right?
What's the best meal you've ever had?
I'm not quite sure what the best meal I've ever had was because I tend to thoroughly enjoy all my meals. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to food, I love it all. I do however, absolutely love Vietnamese vermicelli dishes. If you haven't tried this before, you need to leave your house right now, regardless of the time, and go try it! This amazing concoction is delicious in every way possible and I feel super satisfied whenever I eat this meal.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I had the opportunity to vacation anywhere in the world at the moment, I would say South America. More specifically Brazil. Which is precisely why I will be going to Brazil this summer! If I had to pick a place that I don't already have plans lined up to go, I would say Japan. I have always been fascinated with Japanese culture and I know visiting there would be a blast!
What would be one word that best describes yourself?
What's the biggest problem facing the world right now?
What is your animal spirit?
I believe that if I was an animal, I would definitely be a dog. Seems pretty basic, but it actually lines up with my personality very well. I am very easy going, friendly, and generally energetic. I'm very trustworthy and loyal, and I get along with most people. I don't really judge people that much. I love food, games, and exploring. I'm protective over my territory and friends. If I get a bad feeling I usually trust my gut. I'm usually nice unless you aren't nice to me. Then I might bite back.
What is one of your favorite quotes?
Tie between: "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?" - Dr. Seuss "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” - Saint Augustine
What is one quality you admire most in others?
Confidence, because it is something I don't always have.
What is your favorite song ever?
I have way too many favourite songs. It's so bad. Pretty much half the songs I like are my favourite song. Every week I have a new "favourite". Right now I'd say my favourite song is Who We Are by Shermanology & Amba Shepherd, but that could change at any time depending on what I'm listening to.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can name every single country in the world.
If you could do anything you wanted right now, what would it be?
Build a brand new city from the bottom up. It would be an extremely difficult task, but I would love every minute of it.
What bad habit would you be willing to give up if it guaranteed you would live to be 100?
Swearing. I only use curse words once in a while but I'm not a big fan of myself when I do it, so living until I'm 100 would be a great incentive to eliminate those words from my vocabulary.
What's your dream job?
My dream job would be getting paid to have fun. This could include getting paid to travel, try new things, meet new people, etc. Anything that I enjoy.
How many siblings do you have?
I have two siblings; two younger sisters. I am the oldest of the 3. The older of my two sisters, Deanna, is 2 years younger than me, and the younger of the two, Dahlia, is quite a bit younger than me at 9 years old.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
If I could be ANY fictional character? Hmm. Maybe Ditto from Pokemon. Or Mystique from X-Men. Either of those characters would allow me to transform into anything I wanted, so that way I really could be any fictional character I wanted at any time.
What's your favorite movie of all time?
I would have to say that my favourite movie of all time is Legally Blonde. I have loved it ever since I was a young kid. I think it's a great story about how hard work and perseverance can help you overcome any obstacle. The movie shows that you shouldn't let others dictate what you can become and it inspires me to never give up.
Who is your favorite celebrity and why?
I'm not exactly sure who my favorite celebrity is, but I do enjoy Lady Gaga very much. I'm obsessed with watching her live performances and the occasional interview because she is very unique and eccentric and I love it.
In everyday life, what is your number one pet peeve?
In everyday life, I hate when technology doesn't work properly. SO MUCH. It annoys me to no end when I'm happily going about my business and suddenly something gets ruined because of a technological failure. I love technology because it helps make things more efficient and easy for the most part, but when things don't go right I get extremely frustrated.
Who is the one person you miss them most right now?
Right now, I'd say the person that I miss the most is my long-time friend Courtney. She is an extremely close friend of mine that I met in high school. When we met we instantly clicked and we would do the most random, bizarre activities together and we didn't care at all. We had so much fun and I'm pretty bummed that she moved to another city. I see her every once in a while but it's definitely not the same. I loved having her as a friend that I could call up to hang out at any time for any reason and have a blast.
What is your favorite smell?
I absolutely love the smell of swimming pools. The chlorine scent is just so refreshing for me. I'm not completely sure why. I really enjoy going swimming, and doing so usually refreshes me and puts me in a fantastic mood. The smell of swimming pools has that same effect on me. It is very relaxing. I just hope it's not bad for you.
What is the #1 thing you hope to get out of this iSurv1vor experience?
The main thing that I want to get out of this iSurv1vor experience is the new connections with the people that I will meet. That is the primary driver for why I joined this game in the first place. I love meeting new people and getting to know people on a personal level. I am very excited to have the opportunity to connect with other Survivor fans from around the world, and I hope that I will meet at least one person that I will get along with very well. The more friends, the better!

Journal Entry 1, Day 1
Wow, so here we are. Venezuela. Let's the games begin! I've always wanted to travel to South America, so I'm glad that I'm finally getting a chance to do it. I'm sure that it's gonna take some time to get used to the elements but I know I can handle it! I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this season and now it's finally started. I am extremely excited to meet all of the cast and get to know everyone. I want to start developing relationships that can help me get to the end!
It's seems that gender inequality is still prevalent in Venezuela since the tribes have been divided based on gender. I hope that there isn't any preferential treatment of one sex over the other! p.s. boys are better. Just kidding! ... maybe. But seriously though, I think this is a neat throwback to one of the series' earlier twists and I am excited to see how it plays out! I generally gravitate towards girls and click with them better than guys so this will be a great opportunity for me to see how I can do in a male-dominated tribe.
I have all the necessary skills to win this game. I know I can win this. I just have to play my cards right and I will be sitting in the finals in 45 days. I have to remind myself that this game is a marathon, not a sprint. Take it slow at the beginning. Don't play too hard too fast. Sloooow down. Don't worry about forming alliances yet. Scope everyone out, and then go from there. Hopefully nobody else is forming any alliances yet.
Tribe Orgullo. 10 men. This will be very interesting. There are some familiar faces, some not so much. All I know is that I am in this game for me, and I trust nobody more than myself. I am usually too trusting in life, so I definitely need to stay cognizant of that fact. Don't let your guard down, Gabe!
Arun: I have played one game with Arun in the past and had him on my friends list before the game started, but I don't remember ever talking to him. He seems shy and reserved based on his YouTube videos I found. He also seems pretty connected in the ORG community. A quick glance at his Facebook page shows that he plays online reality games frequently. While scrolling through his photos I discovered that he may be very well connected with the females on Corazon. Ky Armsden and Cherilyn Childress have commented very affectionately on his photos:

That's definitely something that I need to be aware of in case a tribe swap or merge happens.
Bailey: Bailey was the first person to add me as a friend on Facebook so I decided that I would reach out to him and send him a quick Facebook message thanking him for the request. We chatted for a bit before I went to work and he seems like a really down-to-earth guy that I can see myself getting along with very well. I can definitely see myself wanting to work with him later down the road.
Brandon: I haven't spoken to Brandon yet. He seems like he is very involved with the game since he was fairly active pre-game and has been online most of the day. I think he will be an asset for our tribe in the challenges (hopefully), but I can see him being a threat later down the road due to his likability. I can see the women wanting to connect with him and I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.
Drew: I played in a game called vSurvivor with Drew in the past. He immediately messaged me once the game started to say hi and reconnect. He's such a nice guy and I really like him, but I'm not sure if I can trust him. He screwed me over pretty badly in the game we played together. We agreed to vote a certain way and he ended up voting completely differently. He even voted me at one point. So that makes it tough for me because even though I really enjoy talking to him I can't fully trust him. I am leaning towards working with him for now, but perhaps later down the road... *stab* -oops!
Gray: GothicZebra from Tengaged! I recognized him as soon as I seen him. I'm not sure where we stand. Hopefully on good terms. I think he will be easily manipulated by others, so I hope that I can be the one to do it before someone else gets to him.
Ke Andre: Not really sure what I think about Ke Andre yet. He reached out to me via Facebook message and wants to chat later tonight, which I will gladly do. I wonder what he has planned. I think he could make a good ally depending on what he brings to the table. I guess we will find out.
Robby Rob: Another fellow Tengaged player. Him and I go way back. He was one of the first people I knew when I first started out on that website. We don't talk very much so things could go either way with him. Either he will want to work with me because I am familiar to him, or maybe he will want to take me out because of my reputation. I'm hoping the former and not the latter. What will happen still remains to be determined.
Samm: Haven't had a chance to speak with Samm. I have no opinion on him. Can see a combination of him, Brandon, and Gray teaming up so I need to pay attention to any connections between them.
Trevor: Last but not least, Trevor. I have heard of Trevor prior to the game, and I am aware that he is a savvy game player. I am a bit worried about his connections to Stephanie and other women on the Corazon tribe. I think he will be a big threat later down the road. Will I work with him or against him? So many questions, very little answers. He claims that Arun and him have a bad history together so perhaps I can use that to my advantage. Or maybe he is distancing himself from a close ally? Oh the possibilities.
That's it for my opinions on my fellow tribe members for now. More will be written once I get a better picture of who I'm dealing with.

Journal Entry 3, Day 3
It's day 3 and I'm still alive and kicking, so that's a good sign! The game has officially started and player strategies are starting to unfold. Who will reign supreme? Hopefully me!
I'm starting to get a good read on the players in my Orgullo tribe. I really like most if not all of my fellow tribemates. We have a very diverse collection of personalities that I'm excited to play this game with. Right now I'm trying to lay fairly low in terms of strategic gameplay. I'm just scoping people out and getting information from others. My goal right now is to solidify strong relationships with my tribe members for my long term game. I want people to be able to trust me on a personal level, not strictly based on the game. My conversations right now largely revolve around getting to know the lives of others. I want to know what makes everyone happy, sad, mad, etc. When I am able to fully understand the emotions of my tribemates I will know the best way to communicate to them.
It's interesting to note that most players on my tribe are also laying low in terms of gameplay. Nobody is really making an alliances or groups at the moment. Ke Andre, Trevor, and Drew are looking to link up with a group in the near future, while others like Sam, Brandon, Gray, and Arun seem oblivious to any type of groups forming. I have strong suspicions about Sam and Brandon's relationship, as I fear that they may be getting too close to each other. I'm not sure if they have been talking frequently, but I'm hoping that they haven't formed any alliance or made any deal with each other.
Ke Andre wants to team up with a group of 6 for majority, namely him, myself, Robby Rob, Sam, Drew, and Trevor. I am leaning towards the idea of this group, however I am worried that Sam's relationship with Brandon can impair the secrecy of such an alliance. Sam also mentioned to me that he plays Minecraft with Gray, so that could be another connection that would be detrimental.
In terms of my gameplay so far, I have made a deal with Drew so that we will watch each other's backs for now. I also formed a deal with Trevor where we will work with each other. Ke Andre and Robby Rob have unspoken alliances with myself, and I spent most of yesterday trying to build trust with Sam. So for now, those are the players that I am leaning towards working with. I also like Bailey but I haven't seen him around very much. Arun and Gray seem to be non-existent. Still unclear on how Brandon feels about me. I am being friendly with him but he hasn't spoken with me about the game at all, which slightly worries me. He may have to go sooner rather than later.
That's it for now. The first challenge is about to start and I'm excited to see what lays in store. See you in a bit!

Journal Entry 4, Day 4
Note: This journal entry is from before the results of the first immunity challenge were posted. I wrote most of this while I was at work today so please keep that in mind when reading.
Aaaaaand we're back!
So the challenge finally begins! We had a rough start but we didn't give up! Drew, Robby, and Sam lost their individual challenges while Arun and Bailey won theirs; I totally would have guessed it would have been the other way around if I had to make a prediction beforehand! With hard work and determination we were able to slowly catch up to the ladies. At the moment the score is at 3-2, so now it all comes down to the flag.
For the flag creation, I ended up taking a leadership role since nobody else was and I really want to win. Brandon, Ke Andre, Gray, Trevor, and I are working on creative portion. Ke Andre and Brandon don't really have have photoshop skills. I have decent photo editing abilities, but Gray definitely helped tremendously with his photoshop skills. I think our flag is fantastic. It's very clean, very crisp, shows our personalities, and our unique male flair. It is something I can see actually being used as a real flag. My only concern is that the judges will feel it is too basic and that we didn't show enough creativity. Crossing my fingers!
Relationships on our tribe are starting to reveal themselves. Some things that I've noticed:
Ke Andre brought up the idea of forming a majority alliance to me again. He is really pushing for creating the alliance of 6 I mentioned previously.
My initial feelings seem to be proving correct about the Sam, Brandon, and Gray connections. I've been sensing that they are getting very close to each other, and I keep picking up on signs that reaffirm that fact:
1. I shared a video of Cherilyn being on the Maury show with Sam. The video spread to Brandon by the next day "somehow". I wonder how. 2. Brandon and Sam are both quoting the song #selfie. Awesome song btw! 3. Both of them have a passion for drama/theatre, so that is something they can bond over. 4. They constantly reference inside jokes that nobody else understands. What is their obsession with Julie? I'm sure she's awesome, but I don't get their worship of her. 5. Gray and Sam both play Minecraft together. 6. Sam says that although Gray is quiet, he is actually really interesting. I'm sure he is, but how do you know? Must be lots of talking going on between 'em. 7. All three of them seem to have similar personalities in my opinion.
Brandon and Sam are not being very stealthy with their relationship. They are now being very open about how close they are because they constantly are referencing inside jokes between themselves in our tribe chat. This just further reinforces my suspicions of their tight bond, and will only serve to put a target on their backs.
Arun seems to be off in his own little world.
Robby seems to be gravitating towards the young boys (Sam and Brandon) at the moment which could prove troublesome. I may have to side with this group if they are the ones that seem to have majority. I also remember Sam or Brandon mentioning Robby having done drag, and Robby knows Sam's love of cherry coke - both things I already knew. That shows that they are in contact with each other and talking on a personal level, perhaps building a bond that could be dangerous.
I noticed during the challenge that Gray seems to have troubles taking criticism, even though I was giving it just for the best interests of our tribe. Gray didn't seem willing to change the flag from what he created at first and it took slight convincing to get him to incorporate new ideas. He is also very unresponsive on skype in general. He doesn't reveal any information and doesn't speak with me strategically at all. I have a strong feeling (male instinct?) that he is going to lean towards working with Sam and Brandon.
I brought up my suspicions of the Sam, Brandon, Gray connections to Trevor, who instantly agreed and mentioned that he was feeling the same thing. Ke Andre also mentioned that he feels they are getting a little too close for comfort. I am planting the seeds of doubt around camp in order to get people to trust me more than each other.
Trevor is open to the idea of Arun going first which confirms what he told me on day 1 about him and Arun having a rocky past history. Trevor likes Bailey because of his Survivor audition tape despite not having spoken to him yet, and he doesn't feel good about Robby Rob.
Brandon is starting to warm up to me very much. I can tell that he is starting to trust me more, perhaps because Sam told him that I am a good guy to work with. That makes me feel more comfortable with Brandon to the point that I will consider joining the young boys alliance.
Yesterday while in a tribe chat in Google Hangout, I decided that I was beyond the point of exhaustion. So I made the executive decision to turn off my camera and microphone. I disappeared without anyone noticing. I decided that I would stay in the Google Hangout to just listen because I didn't think I would be able to contribute to discussion very well while I was half asleep. But I did still want to keep an eye on everyone and watch their interactions. Slowly the group narrowed down until only Bailey and Ke Andre remained. I'm surprised that they were naive enough to chat on call strategically while my icon was still in the chat. I decided to spy on their conversation. As I listened in on their conversation, I got the sense that Bailey seems to be weary of Gray. I can possibly use this info to my advantage in the future.
Trevor seems to be ruffling feathers on our tribe. I have caught Sam and Brandon making fun of Trevor during our 3-way skype calls, so I can tell that they are not looking to work with him and he might be on their radar in the future. During my undercover viewing of Bailey/Ke Andre's conversation, I gathered that Bailey is not sure where he stands with Trevor yet. Things could look very bad for Trevor if we lose.
Trevor is open to the idea of Arun going first which confirms what he told me on day 1 about him and Arun having a rocky past history. Trevor likes Bailey because of his Survivor audition tape despite not having spoken to him yet, and he doesn't feel good about Robby Rob.
At this point I have the foundations of a great relationship built with almost every member of my tribe except Arun and Gray. I will try to work on them today and get them to open up to me despite their quiet nature. Sam and Brandon seem to trust me right now so I have plenty of options for who I can work with. Should I side with Ke Andre and Trevor, or should I go with the Sam, Brandon, Gray team? Oh the possiblities...
My current relationship standings with others on my tribe:
Strong bond: Ke Andre, Trevor, Drew, Sam Medium bond: Brandon, Robby Rob Weak bond: Bailey No connection: Arun, Gray
Green = spoken strategy with
*looks up* Wow. I have way too much to say all the time. Must. Stop. Talking. Enjoy the block of text!~ #sorrynotsorry Video confessional coming up shortly.

Journal Entry 6, Day 5
Yesterday = WILD. Actually that might even be an understatement. Going to tribal council has really changed the dynamics of the tribe instantaneously. Immediately, everyone's game went from casual to strategic. If it wasn't clear before, everyone on our tribe is now officially playing the game.
In another game twist, the winning tribe has to kidnap one of our members to bring to their tribe and protect them from the vote. In addition, the player chosen would be able to pick a female on the Corazon tribe and send her to our tribe to vote and observe. Ke Andre was chosen by the women to go over and Stephanie came in his place.
As I mentioned in my last pair of confessionals, tribal council day started off with Brandon rallying the tribe to vote out Trevor. Sam and him concocted the idea that Trevor needs to go this tribal council and spoke to everyone sans Drew and myself about the plan. They were telling Trevor that Arun was the one they wanted to leave and made it seem to him that they were telling the truth by working in unison and coordinating their communication. By the time I came home from work, everything had been "decided". I was informed by Brandon that the "entire tribe" wanted Ke Andre to go. Since he was kidnapped to the other tribe it was a "consensus" that Trevor would be leaving. I just smile, nod, and completely agree with everything he says. "Of course that's how we should vote", I acted. "That's exactly what I was thinking!", I lied. In reality, I was running ways to change things around in my head.
I was really worried because this entire decision had been made and votes had been "finalized" without any input from myself whatsoever. If this is how the game was going to go, I would not last very long at all. I did not feel comfortable with Brandon and his troops, so I HAD to do something.
When finishing speaking with Brandon, I paused and took a moment to analyze my potential moves. Trevor was pushing for Arun to go because he felt that it would be an easy vote and was completely unaware of the fact that he was on the chopping block. Because of that, Arun was going to vote Trevor in order to protect himself. So at this point, I saw this as the current vote tally:
I knew that Brandon, Sam, and Gray would be voting in union. I am absolutely certain that they are all working together. Arun had to vote Trevor in order to protect himself, and apparently Stephanie was willing to vote however he wanted. Robby Rob and Bailey were supposedly contacted by Brandon previously and were on board to take out Trevor.
The odds looked bleak. Majority was on Trevor. I feel that Robby Rob has bonded closely with the young boys alliance so I think it would be tough to sway him. Not sure about Bailey but we need at least 6 for majority. Then it clicked. The only way for us to ensure Trevor's safety is for us to completely change this vote. We NEEDED to ensure Arun's vote, because doing so would give us the opportunity to gain Stephanie's vote as well. That was the only way for us to stand a chance.
So first I began by telling Trevor about the target on his back. I told him not to freak out or telling anyone he knew yet. I had a plan. I then proceeded by contacting Drew and filling him in on the entire situation. Drew was completely on board with attempting to save Trevor. 3 boys in, check! Now comes the most crucial part of my strategy. I immediately proceeded to confront Arun and informed him that things were not as clear as they seemed. I explained that I didn't think Trevor was planning to vote him and I spontaneously gave him a call. After 30 minutes of clarification and discussion for our first ever strategic talk, I had convinced Arun that Brandon, Sam and Gray were a powerhouse group that needed to be broken up. It was perfect timing because Arun says he was JUST ABOUT TO VOTE. He mentioned that he was starting to work on his parchment. Talk about close timing! Now that I have had the chance to speak to Arun I actually think he's a really cool guy. He has a rational head and is able to listen to logic which is something I really appreciate. I can definitely see us working together long term. This scramble has only strengthened our relationship.
Also, Trevor had informed me that Brandon was spreading a rumor that Arun, Robby Rob, and myself were in an alliance. Honestly, I didn't really care about that rumor because it was so absurd, but the fact that Brandon was mentioning my name was troublesome. But I came up with an idea. I could use this information as the "reason" why I wanted Brandon out! This way I would have a legitimate excuse to take him out without getting his allies upset at me. They would not be able to blame me, only Brandon for his stupidity. So I confronted Brandon. I decided to go straight to the source.
Paraphrased conversation: (will posted the skype conversation when I get home, it's hilarious)
Gabriel: Hey, did you tell Trevor that I'm in an alliance? Brandon: wait what? Gabriel: Answer the question Brandon: i dont think so haha
Um, yeah. You know. You definitely know. Now my mind was 100% made up. Brandon would be leaving tonight. Time to tell the troops.
After speaking to Arun, I began telling others (Trevor and Drew) that Brandon and Sam told me that Gray is on their leash and he will do whatever they want him to. This wasn't true. Although I know that Gray is following their every word, they never actually told me that. I needed a concrete way to convey the young boys alliance without actually accusing them without solid proof. I wanted to start laying the groundwork for their eventual elimination. Brandon was now on everybody's radars. All his lies he's been spreading started to fill up his iSurv1vor resume.
So now that Arun's vote was solidified, we reached out to Stephanie. She mentioned that she would only vote with majority. Good move on her part; she has no need to rock the boat yet. So we needed to get one more vote in order to ensure control. At this point I had 15 minutes to get to a prior life commitment that I had made with my friends (playing squash/nachos!) so I delegated the task of converting Bailey/Robby Rob to our side to Drew and Trevor. Right as I was about to head out to my car I received a call. Sam. Ugh. I pick up the call and start talking very quickly.
Gabriel: "Hey Sam! I would really love to stay and chat but I seriously have to head out RIGHT NOW. I'm soooo going to be late to meet up with my friends and I promised them I'd be there." Sam: "Ugh Gabrielllll..." Gabriel: "Sorry I HAVE to go. By the way I'm PISSED at Brandon. He's probably going home tonight." Sam: *nervous laugh* Gabriel: "BYEEEE!"
I gave this information to Sam for a number of reasons. 1. I wanted to make it clear that I wasn't making this move as a move against Sam. It was only a move against Brandon. 2. I wanted to make it seem like I am very impulsive and emotional. That way it will seem like I can be easily manipulated. 3. I want to keep an open line of communication with him. No dancing around the real topic; straight to the point. By telling him my vote I am able to keep his trust in me. 4. I want to come off as a completely honest person. I am honest, but in this game... not always.
Once I arrived back from hanging out with my friends I was happy to know that Bailey was on board with our plan. Luckily he had not voted yet at that point so we still had a chance to secure his vote and we did! That did it. After getting his vote we were able to capture Stephanie's vote, bringing us to a 6-person majority. I later spoke to Bailey and Robby Rob to get a sense of what they were thinking. Bailey is on the same page as me and we bonded some more over our love of bizarre facts. Robby Rob seemed apprehensive about the vote and I do not count on him being useful to be at all in this game.
So far Stephanie coming over hasn't really impacted the game too much. Regardless of whether it was Ke Andre here or whether it is her, we likely would have been able to solidify the votes to pull off this move.
Honestly, I never thought Brandon was going to be leaving at this tribal council before yesterday. I was thinking that I would be voting for Arun, maybe even aiming for Gray if I felt daring enough to pick off the young boys alliance this early. But I saw the perfect opportunity to take out a threat and I had to completely change the vote. I guess I just can't lay low in games. It doesn't work for me.
